Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Paterson will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in New Jersey usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (973) 881-8003. Paterson is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Paterson is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Their traditional soft kunafa was absolutely delicious!!! We tried both the crunchy and soft kunafa, and both were so good. The owner’s son was also so kind and welcoming. He explained the differences between the desserts they had and even gave us a few other desserts to try without charging us, which was such a nice gesture. I was craving kunafa so badly that I drove 2 hours to come here, and it was definitely worth the drive! I will absolutely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

A special order of extra cheese kunafa was soggy, and gooey, the dough (kataifi) was likely too thick, poorly shredded making it soft and doughy with little cheese! Really disappointed with this place!

I’m honestly disappointed to have to write this, but I felt it was necessary. I’ve made the three-hour drive here many times specifically for the kunafa because I’ve always loved it. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was really upsetting, there was barely any cheese and still paid $7 for it. I’m hoping management can please look into this and ensure the portions remain consistent. I truly enjoy coming here and would love to continue supporting your business.

This place feels like home. The staff are so kind. The Kunafa Naameh was great. Very similar to the original in Palestine. The Kunafa Khishneh was also good, but it didn’t taste like the ones you’d get in the Middle East. It had its own unique flavor which I liked. It was very rich and reasonably priced.
